I don’t have one but the guys I talk to at the range all use them for hunting.

Before the horrific boating accident in which I lost ALL my guns, I used my ar15’s to hunt ground hogs & other varmint all the time. Excellent platform for hunting!

In the 1980’s I hunted woodchuck with a Colt AR-15. The fun thing was I went 30 miles on Rt 17 in NY to my friend’s father-in-law’s farm with it slung over my back on a Suzuki GS650EX motorcycle. Never got stopped or questioned by the local sheriffs or state police.

It was a simpler time.
