Great, the oddball lover in me now has to research those projectiles I don’t recognize in the image (.338’s and .375) thus lightening my wallet at some point. Especially if i can build an AR in that cartridge. Thanks a lot @Robocop1051! :cowboy_hat_face:

You’re not going to make it as batman coming in after the villain confess

Your thread should have been named “Is it real or is it fake?”

.338 Spectre is based on the 10mm Magnum case, and uses the same bolt and mags as 6.8mmSPC. It’s another wildcat for ARs from Teppo Jutsu. Subsonic 300gr loads that have shown some impressive results on gel tests.

I think SBR Ammunition is the licensed source for barrels and ammunition (if you don’t want to get dies and make your own from StarLine 10mmMag brass).

He thinks it is a 30-30 casing trimmed and necked down with some sort of 30 cal bullet.

How did he do?

I did a little looking. Is it a 30 Herrett?

It is a .30 Reese. It is a .357 necked to .30 . The guy that came up with it got rcbs to make dies and a chamber reamer For it and Hornady made brass with the propped head stamp.
