Part found, looks like extractor, identify?

Found this little part on the bench while shooting Saturday. First thought it was of one of my guns, but too whimpy for a AR, Glock, or revolver. Any ideas? about 10mm long

That looks like an extractor for a 10/22.

I cleaned and oiled my prewar m61 but a week earlier and at a different location that’s the only weapon I have that would have a weenie little part like that, and that’s a maybe. probably flew off someone else’s gun.

That is a broken Ruger extractor, It’s used in their 10/22 and a couple handguns. It is broken. if you didn’t have a Ruger 22 there, it ain’t yours.
