They look more aesthetically pleasing, but for serious business I would want 30 rounders.

The stick magazine is most likely more reliable. The drums have more parts to them and therefore more of a probability for an issue.

With this PDW, we found that the Sig Gen 2 20 or 30 round mags work very well. With the SS mag extensions that make them a 40 round mag, they will not reliably hold the bolt open on the last round. But… they do seem to cycle the same with only 5 rounds left in the mag on semi auto at least.

I am not sure if this could be considered a PDW… customer thinks it is. It goes with him all over. Brought it in for Cerakote… typical Remington it was rusting. Hahhahhaha
