Thank you everyone for your input. It’s a sad and happy day. Sad because my plans have changed and I will no longer be building a semi nice range nor will I be building a house. I will still have the family property so I can shoot whenever I want though. I’ll just have to trek ‘down the holler’.

Happy because we found what we were looking for in a better school district that also offers lots of privacy… and at a cheaper price. It was on the market one day and we snatched it, outbidding another offer and voiding three other showings. Also, more sq footage to store my collection!
