So far my Milwaukee has been dropped about 10 feet off a freeze tunnel then off of a scissor lift while putting up hangers for some piping but now some idiot from the production team used my impact then ran it over with a forklift by “accident”. It still works but the battery gets hot as fuck and stops working.

ummm these can blow up when not even in use

so if it gets hot while using …you may wish to rethink using at all as is

Lol fair point I threw the battery away I meant the impact itself still works fine.

I sort of like Matebo impacts and grinders , they lack the balls of the Milwaukee but they can be battery powered or you can run them corded, they are also super smooth and not jittery at all.

I can bust rusted lug nuts loose with the Milwaukee it dosnt even hesitate or hammer that bad, I snapped one of my 1/4" socket adapters though. Use to be only the 1/2" impact wrenches were up to those sort of tasks but I dont really think thats the case anymore with the 1/4" adapter being the limiting factor.

you might be surprised that the 3/8" could have the same or more torque then the 1/2"

one of my favourite youpuke channels is “The Torque Test Channel”

Nope not me … Mine charges batteries in 30 minutes and works like a charm

I havnt played with any 3/8 impacts yet just 1/4" impact drivers and 1/2" wrenches. Might look ijto those though. Does Milwaukee sell a 4th gen 3/8th impact?

they might but sometimes getting a cordless ratchet/nut driver might serve you better.
