Wouldn’t a better discription be semi auto versions of ww2 sub guns?

These are sold as pistols due to stock absence or welding…So semi auto sub-machine gun really cant apply. If you add a stock or repair the welded stock they become “short barreled rifles” As they are pistol caliber the definition of carbine in my head seemed to fit better lol.
