Quick show of hands without anyone cheating and googling it.

I don’t watch the news so maybe it was plastered everywhere and I’m not aware. Maybe there was a call for gun control at the time, but I was also not aware.

Does anyone recall a school killing in Marysville, WA at the Marysville-Pilchuck Highschool in 2014?

Yea, I noticed certain things don’t get reported or covered as much, especially when it doesn’t fit the Left’s agenda, such as weapons used or the race /ethnicity of the offender.

Quite interesting.

For example, a lot going around about all the “white” mass shooters and why most all of them are white. One more thing to tag onto whitey and make the white man look evil. Its really pissing me off.

Well, I we did some research and we did some number crunching over here.
The people making this claim about most mass shooters being white don’t care to take into account the population of the different races. White people are the majority in America. But many people are fit into the “white” category or “other” category when it comes to many things. Pretty much anyone who isn’t black, asian, or latino is considered white. Even in the U.S. Census, people from the middle east and other places are considered white. But when you look at the breakdown of the U.S. population and then the breakdown of the mass killers, taking the Muslims out of the white and black and “other” category, and giving them their own category considering their culture is more significant than their skin color, you get the following chart. The first column is the number of mass killers from 1982 to 2019 (based on 3+ fatalities), second column is % of population that particular race makes up in the United States and third column is the percentage of the mass murders that race represents.

Of the 116 mass killers I researched, you can see from this, that muslims make up 0.9% of our population but respresent 7.76 percent of these 116 mass killers. That’s 8X their population representation. Latinos are half of what their population percentage is. Whites slightly under, blacks and asians mass murderers represent slightly over what their population is in this country. Yet, MSM only seems to showcase the white mass murderers and not the other races/ethnicities, even if they use the scary black guns.

So my thread was because I was seeing mass killings and don’t remember hearing about them, the school above in Washington is one of them. The killer was a native american and the school is a public school and has the largest student body in the state of Washington. The killer shot 5 of his friends in the head during lunch in the school cafeteria, four of them dying. The gun he used was his fathers, .40 Baretta. The father was arrested a year after the shooting for acquiring that gun and four more guns illegally. He basically lied on the background checks.

Why are shootings like this not being the center of attention by the Left politicians and MSM? Is it because the shooter is native american and not a white boy? Are there not enough victims to get the public support they need for gun control? Was the gun used in the killing not the guns they are trying to target? Or is it all of the above?

And this mass shooting is just one of many examples I have come across. They don’t seem to want to call out anyone other than whites and they don’t want to call out the scary black gun in a shooting unless a white is the one doing the shooting. Unless of course the tragedy becomes so public that they know they can’t ignore it and have to air it, but it is quickly brushed under the rug.

I must say that the results above did surpise me, I wasn’t expecting those results. It’s amazing things you find out when you stop listening to the news and start putting things together. Also, when you map all these killings out, and a few other things…yep. You start to see a pattern.

Wasn’t the shooter a Native American? I do remember a shooting up in that area that involved a Indian .

I remember that incident because I lived in WA at that time. As I recall @Jtr he was Native American.
