Received upper with blemishes, advice

Quick question:
My upper from BCA had several blemishes. After writing they asked for photos. After they looked at them they apologized and offered 5% off, good for 30 days???
Is that SOP or what?
I can get 5% off every other week on their site.
the blemishes were small, but should have been spotted in QC.
AITA for thinking that’s low-balling?

If it shoots good groups don’t send it back. If the groups are so so send it back for another upper. Their barrels are hit and miss. Minor finish flaws I can live with if the rifle shoots well.

Send it back.
Or
Cover it up, or oh well it.

Did you order it with optional blemishes? I would send it back and shop some place else.

BCA has a certain reputation. I always plan on blemishes when going budget friendly.

Have you function checked it?

oh sorry, misunderstood. I haven’t put it together yet. Partly because i am being pulled in a few different directions with stuff going on and partly because the anticipation will turn to depression once i have to stop. lol
