So the AK12 could not meet their requirements so they are switching to this rifle. My main question is, where in the fuck are all of these new AKs? We dont get any of the cool shit here in the states, its either $2000 clones or Wasrs with the occasional plain jane Arsenal.

There is actually quite a bit more upgrades to the AK12/AK400 over regular AKs than just picatinny rails.
The AK-12 is a Russian assault rifle chambered in 5.45×39mm designed and manufactured by the Kalashnikov Concern (formerly Izhmash), making it the fifth generation of Kalashnikov rifles.
