Shot a PCC match

Never shot PCC in a match until today, I sucked. I read the email wrong from my local club. I thought it said PCC what it actually said was carbine or PCC. I only have one PCC it is my KelTec sub 2000 in 40S&W. I like the carbine but I don’t shot it enough so I’m glad I did today. If you’ve never shot one the sights are very low. The cheek weld is on the center of the cheek bone. I didn’t bother aiming just point and shoot. It was an outlaw club match so it was good to shoot the KelTec. All in all it was a great day at the range.

I used to shoot a sub2k in PCC division. A red dot with a riser is your friend. There are mounts that will keep the folding quality and return to zero 100%.The gun works 100% if fed right and it’s certainly accurate enough. Mine was/is in 9mm since there’s no award for more recoil. Zombies die with either a 9mm or .40 in the brain, so does paper and steel. Using the issue sights gets you extra points in my mind though. That’s just torture. Yeah, get a micro red dot and the rifle comes alive.

MCarbo is your friend. But figure out what all you want for internal upgrades and install all of them at the same time. Getting the sub2k back together isn’t a lot of fun. You only want to do it once.

Probably going to spend a bunch of money makin that thing work like you want, spend some of that casino moneys and get you an AR9 and be done with it. I put a buffer and tube cover stock pad on my 2000… a total waste of money. Or any other of the PC carbines. or really break into that one arm bandit money and buy an MP5

But when you have plenty of time to shoot, they can be accurate

Actually think i cheated on them two targets, think i used a Laser. it’s not on the gun but think thats what i used. doubt i could shoot a group like that with those sights. a common occurrence with them is you have to crank the front sight all the way to get it on target. can’t remember if it’s up or down. i just know it’s hard to get a sight picture with them.
