Riverside County (a neighbor to Orange County where I live) had one of the strictest CCW policies around. A new Sheriff and a law suite has changed that.
I still hate the fact we need a permit to exercise a constitutional right but it’s progress. Orange County’s policy changed about 5 years ago and continues to improve. It’s alwasy bugged me that I could get a permit but some guy a few mikes away couldn’t.
A small victory but in this state it’s a big deal.
