That really sucks!
The rifles go for 500-700 now, and the scope with the mount will fetch over 300 alone.
Used to be that a mans word and a handshake were his honor and the reputation of his name. Now it takes multi-level contracts with witnesses and notary’s and people still break their word as soon as it’s convenient for them to do so.

It was not in as nearly as good shape as yours and at the time I thought he was a friend and did not have a rifle, no man should be without one in my mind. What the hell you live and learn, they were cheap when I got it.
