Dont forget Elmer Keith who learned from Civil war vets.
I somehow ended up with 2 brand new copies of JT’s Book of the 45 Caliber. For a while I kept thinking “The other one” was Book of the 44 (Which apparently I have zero) until I managed to get both of them in the same room.
I always liked .44 killed quite few deer with a 44mag. I am sure he covers many different 44 offerings. Its on my short list. I like the way John Taffin writes. Would dearly love to meet him.
I suspect my respect and admiration teters on the verge of that for which JT had and still has for Elmer (R.I.P.)
Have an old Ruger semi auto in 44 mag, among other revolvers and carbines in the caliber. Great carbine great round.
Good books, I have a few.
Ken Waters is one of my mainstays for reloading. He’s one of those " been there, done that" guys.
