Speed Loader for Savage Model 64?

Hello all,

I wanted to ask if anyone knew about a speed re-loader for the savage model 64 rifle?

I haven’t been able to find one myself yet, and the one I recently purchased (which is the one that might have fit) doesn’t let the magazine halfway up the opening before it gets wedged. This sounds like a job for a mill, or a file and some patience. I think you would be able to modify it a little. Or you could send it to me and I could take a look at it.

What do you mean by a mill?

Also would a wood file work on plastic? Thats the only file I have access too.

Finally, if you were going to pay for shipping, I’d be down to send it to you.

I’m sure a file will work fine. A wood file on plastic should work.
No I wouldn’t be paying for shipping if I’m fixing something out of the kindness of my heart.

oh…that was meant to be a joke. Both explaining that I couldn’t afford it, and a joke that I would ask you to pay for shipping to do me a favor. I take it, that it didn’t come across that way?
