So I’m not sure exactly where this post should go so if it is misplaced I apologize. I am currently looking to obtain my first suppressors. I’m not really looking for the hoopla of what I need to do as far as ATF and paperwork. My questions are what are decent brands that do not cost an arm and a leg. I’m thinking I would like to suppress an AR or maybe a .22. Would the same suppressor would for both of these like a brake would or is it different because of gases etc? Also is there anything else I might need to modify to make the weapon ready for the suppressor?
Lots of good info on suppressors in the FFL Industry NFA section found here:

As long as the barrel is threaded your good to go…
Get two separate cans. If your looking for budget friendly and amazing quality 223 canfor your ar15 take a look at yankee hills turbo and Rex silentium honoris! For rimfire the list is endless. You have dead air mask, Rex seg, cgs siren, aac element 2, tbac takedown22 just to name a few. I do recommend a good adjustable gas block for your ar15 to tune your rifle for optimal performance. If you can find a good dealer like @chris (Hansohn Brothers) the paper work only equals signing your name and they handle everything! NFA made easy!
Do you know of any good people in Oklahoma?
