Perhaps it would help to incorporate the ages stated by the people above: jf89 (29); Stumpkiller (59); and JOHN1 (83)?

You would get a different answer…

34.67 + 53.85 + 63.33 = 994 (rounded)
x 3 x 13 x 3
+ 29
+ 59
+ 83
---------
1165
/ 22 (3 + 13 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1)
---------
52.95

Add me in, and you can round it up to 53 (actually a little over 53).

This, of course, assumes that none of these additional 3 answered your poll directly.

So, average age in the early 50’s, either way.

This topic hurts my eyes. Working in market research gives me a unique perspective on stuff like this. Might I suggest another topic and or poll on this subject using a more research-oriented option set? This is what we use for 90% of all of our research projects. Its pretty standard stuff. Just a suggestion. :wink:
