Taylors & Company Firearms

I think the 2021 Shooting Sports Showcase was my first time getting to actually shoot some of the stuff from Taylors & Company. Seems like they make some pretty high end, high quality, old west guns. Any of you guys own stuff from them?

They are also high priced but they are nice looking guns .

yes they are, basically they take the regular stuff from like Uberti, etc and really spend time tweaking them out, smoothing them out, etc. labor costs money

If I was going to lay out the cash that would be my pick.

I do know that Taylors imports Uberti and other Italian revolvers “Made In Italy”. They add their fine tuning and custom grips, sights etc…kind of like a final “quality control” and then stamp their name on the barrel. They are one of at least two current reputable importers…the other being Cimarron.

Here is one of my Uberti’s imported by Stoeger. (I applied the snake inlays)

My Uberti Winchester 73’ was imported by Cabelas

What no love for Traditions?
I’ve been thinking about getting a Traditions because they are cheap and i don’t plan on getting into black powder muzzle loaders to seriously.

I think Traditions only imports Pietta’s. I can look at their website a check.

I checked Tradition’s website and all I could find was Pietta revolvers.
