Thanks Robert! et. al.

Well, thanks to Robert I found the bullet to start a conversation. I am wore out and use my computer and not my cell phone (which I can barely operate) to converse with my hope to make many friends on this planet before cashing in on the dirt nap opportunity which is closer than I want but with some help from some of you good folks maybe I can share some enjoyment with some of you all from the confines of my computer chair…and the occasional trip to the gun range.

You’re welcome, now tell us what your favorite firearm is

My favorite Firearm is not one firearm. My favorite 22 LR is a CZ 455 but that might be because I haven’t shot the CZ 452’s that I have acquired lately. (2 or 3) of them.
My Favorite shotgun is my Model 12 Winchester in 16 gauge for a pump and my favorite semi-automatic shotgun would be my 16 guage browning A-5 standard from 1961.
My favorite 243 is a savage 110 in a boyd’s at one stock
My favorite 223 is split between a savage 110 and a Ruger M77 varmint target with the beavertail stock.
I have a Ruger Scout rifle in 308 that shoots 3/8" cloverleafs at 100 yards…(sloppy shooting on my part)
I guess my favorite pistol is a colt new service 38-40 my great grandfather had that was passed down to me years ago.
The slickest 9 MM I have is a Tanfoglio witness elite match pro (or something like that) Best factory trigger I’ve ever pulled.
My only 1911 in 45 acp has not been shot yet so right now my favorite 45 acp is a Sar K2 45 that I’m really impressed with. I hope this is ok to put in introductions. IF not please put it where you will. Thanks.

I think its fine :slightly_smiling_face: lots of nice selections in that bunch. Looks like your range time is premium

I’ve not handled one of those but owned a CZ TSO that I suspect is on par, it was also the best pistol I’ve owned to date, awesome trigger, my complaint was the weight, rough on the hip at a 200rd match

I don’t shoot in matches so I’m not worried about the weight. PLUS the fact that I can’t really shoot a pistol very well…although my EAA Witness Elite Match makes me look good at 25 yards I am no where near a competitive pistol shooter. Rifle, I’m pretty good.

Being good means accurate and in my book that is what counts. Speed shooting competition look like funbut, its never been my game either.

I think it’s the perfect place. That is a nice collection. Reminds me I need to get to the range.

thats not my “collection” by a long shot but I didn’t want to go into all that. I have other rifles that shoot good too but the ones I mentioned are ones I’ve shot lately. I have a few 6.5 x 55 Swedes that I really like. One is a Tikka T3 thats showing promise but I’m going to bed the action before I mess with it any more. Thanks for the response Festus…Wouldn’t be Hagan would it?
