Yep, nothing happening now is new. Its literally a rerun of the same old shit. Maybe instead, our insistence that we are somehow different is the big mind fuck.

Somehow I feel that if something similar were to be attempted today, the armed civilians would be met with a very heavy-handed response by the local Sheriff’s SWAT and hand-me-down former military armored vehicles.
