I didn’t know much about JMB prior to watching these videos. He did prefer 9mm to .45 though, he knew stuff.

Here’s a J.M. Browning design that didn’t stay fresh . . . or not.

Notice the Remington Model 8 (with law enforcement extended magazine) and the AK-47. The Browning design was long recoil and the AK is gas piston. . . but the receiver and safety are uncommonly familiar.

Moses divided the Red Sea. John Moses Browning divided time. Before and after 1911.

Technically, Moses didn’t divide anything, and it was a sea of reeds. But that is another thread in another sub forum. Great quote anyway.

because he gave the patent and tech pack to the US Government without accepting any royalties at the outbreak of the First World War
