I thought the LGS was busy after the election, it’s a madhouse now! People parking blocks away, license plates from hundreds of miles away, numerous lines full of people buying every type of weapon, not many black rifles available though. His range is busy, people renting guns to shoot for the first time, he is a class III as well. He had been keeping ammo on the shelf, still has all the standard calibers but the odd stuff is starting to dry up with production focused on the biggest sellers. Not even gonna talk about price, doesn’t hurt to bad with the three box limit he has. The shear number of new gun owners is awe inspiring!

I don’t recognize any panic buying here in central Maine, just a steady procession of gun buyers. Every time I go in the LGS there are people waiting for their NICS to come back. It never seems to put a dent in the inventory that I notice. Lots of black rifles, but they have all sorts of parts and they’re a manufacturer. But even things they don’t make they never seem to run out of. Ammo is a different story.
Re: that bill, why don’t they just be honest and go right to the chase. We all know what they want and the answer is “NO!”. Not by drips and not in a torrent. The answer is NO!
I hope gunowners stick together and give their bills the middle finger salute. I want to see what they do to 10s of millions of us. Can be they be so stupid as to think they can win? I don’t need an answer to that. Of course that means we stick together. Getting gun owners to do that is like herding cats. But I hope not this time, too much is riding on it.

This guy is very often a top ten seller on on Gunbroker and a local LEO, does big volume, we are lucky he decided to put up a brick and mortar here about a decade ago. He wouldn’t be able to keep up on the ammo if he didn’t put the three box limit on. Guns are as sparse on the shelves and racks as I’ve ever seen but still many hundreds of guns in the store.

Not always the case in Maine. By edict we have to wear a mask and the store can get into deep shit if they get caught with us in it not wearing. I wear to protect my friends from the rats who could be in there. But it’s only for show. My mask flaps in the breeze since it’s held on at the top back of my head. We actually shake hands too (Oh No GOD forbid!). But if someone believes the lies that masks protect and whatnot I won’t bust their bubble.

God I can’t stand that poor excuse for a person, isn’t she the one that asked if the mars rover would be able to see the flag the Apollo astronauts planted? For what good it will do Suzie, Angus and Jarad will get voice mails Monday, nobody ever answers the phone. I reckon some emails are in order, they are all moonbats but this is a pretty pro-gun state still so maybe they will pay attention.
