Yea, I was talking about the L85 variants. The initial ones were/are crap-pure and simple. Supposedly the A3 is on the money from what I have read. having the chance to work with Brit troops in Afghanistan and I can tell you that they are not exactly enamored with that weapon. On top of that, the manual of arms for it suck.

Ive actually heard this from an ex Brit soldier too. He just said its a shit platform and both the FAL and m4 are far better rifles, in his opinion. The l85 still looks pretty though, which is pretty important.

Have to agree with that list! I own a FN FNC absolutely love it.
I have a Beretta 59 in the vault waiting on a tax stamp, very nice setup as well!
