Trump making nice after bumpstock gaffe?

So Trump now pushing the reciprocity concept. Good on him. Better to shoot for nation wide Constitutional Carry but i’ll take it.
Not expecting much however.

Looks like the article is from 2015, so I still consider him a traitor

True enough. Missed that. My apologies.
Always trying to find the positive… even when it ain’t there.

Someone should remind Trump of his comments. He’s gotta stand behind his words.

Good luck, he is a politician. They lie almost as much as lawyers. MAGA supporters are almost as bad as Obama supporters in terms of blindly following their false messiah.

Whether true or false, you’re gonna have to vote for him as a lesser or two evils again because never in a primary has a sitting president been beaten and the opposition this time is the worst it has ever been. He’s done a good enough job to earn a second term in my opinion. And because the alternative is truly scary.

I dont HAVE TO vote for anyone, America dosnt work that way.

After his anti gun bullshit I wont be voting for him, ymmv.

He has damn near done as much damage to our 2A rights as Bummer did, he is no better then the left when it comes to gun rights. He blows hot air about supporting our gun rights and he talks big to get the NRAs support but I digress, he is “better” then the left…which isnt saying much and isnt enough make me vote for him again. Just my 2 cents, ymmv.

Relax mate, I didn’t mean that fucking literally.

And to add, if you think he is worse on the 2A than what the competition will do WHICH CAN AND DOES INCLUDE REPUBLICANS then I dunno what to tell you.

Thirdly, how do you think I feel as a libertarian? There isn’t shit for me to vote for.

So who’s your pick and why? Or you not voting at all?

He has proven he is no better. Its not opinion anymore when he is supporting the Alfeda forcing you to surrender firearm accessories. There are bigger talkers on the left with more ambitious goals but dont get it twisted, Trump supports red flag laws and confiscation. After Parkland he even hinted at disarming people and only give the chosen back their guns.

I havnt seen the GOPs line up for next election, tbh. I probably wont vote.

Last election I looked at the GOPs line up and chose Rand Paul but after that I chose Cruz, imo he had a little more to offer (but still alot of the same) ymmv. My opinion of Trump is not as strong as some of yours though. No disrespect intended.

Trump was better than the other, but make no mistake about it.Trump is not our friend, he is for trump and will do what makes him look good regardless of what it is. If he thinks banning AR15’s will make him look good, that’s what he will do. But compared to a Clinton he was the only choice and the current crop of Demo’s running are just as bad.

Ultimately, I only play the lesser of two evils to a certain extent. I dont want to support tyrants and only so much bullshit is tolerable…again, ymmv.

I don’t give a flying fuck to be honest. Getting down to brass tacks I just don’t want a democrat to win plain and simple. Personally I’d like to see someone like Sheriff David Clarke or Brandon Tatum win, you know, people who actually believe in the constitution and have real world service experience in the streets as LEOs. Ted Cruz would only be a consideration if he had a chance against the democrats…which he does not. I do like his defiant attitude, sort of like how Trump is towards the democrats.

If you do not vote you cannot participate nor comment nor complain about the situation. By not voting you are actually committing a worse offense. You might was well just vote for a far left democrat because not voting is a vote for them. No disrespect intended either. Just know I’m having a shit day so today I am unfiltered and will be quite blunt. So don’t take offense.

Yes I can, #first amendment and no im not, supporting a tyrant is just as bad if not worse then not voting. Its a matter of perspective and if a potus violates a constitutional right its up t Americans to decide if thats acceptable to them. Its not for me so fuck them. I wont be strong armed or pressured into a vote based on others opinions, no offense. Lesser of two evils only goes so far untail its unacceptable, so he wont get my vote. You can vote for whoever you want, im not judging anyone just expressing my opinion,
to each their own.

Most of what you said is fine, except for the not voting thing. You should at least find a candidate to vote for that YOU like. Trust me, I used to be you. I didn’t vote. Now I do. You believe so strongly in the 1A and 2A and etc so why not the right to vote? A bit hypocritical isn’t it? Not being an ass, legitimately inquiring and trying to understand your state of mind here. You’re not saying anything I didn’t say 10 years ago.

Poll everyone here and you’ll find that almost everyone will agree with me that not voting altogether is a worse offense. But, it’s all good. You do you. :+1: I’ll move on.

I believe in people having the right to vote, not being required to. I might vote but not for Trump, usually I vote but that only goes so far with me. I voted for Trump but I liked Cruz more last time, I kind of worded that weird. David Clarke would be interesting though. Black conservative democrat cop, lots of confusion for the identity politics crowd

That’s why it would be a genius pick. :cowboy_hat_face:

There won’t be another Republican in 2020. No one will challenge him in this economy.
2024 I still got my eye on Nikki Haley. Strong, conservative, way more Native American than Pocahatus and a woman. What could the Dems do to that without showing their racist, sexist selves?
