When the lead scrapes the frame when loading the revolver you know you got about as much bullet as it will take!
you got that right @albroswift
I am not sure the exact grain or make or molde of Bullet that Buffalo Bore is using there but I’m gonna guess it looks like a .255 Keith style semi wadcutter design. What do you think @albroswift
Edit: I re read that article and it is a 255 gr. Keith and “Tank” said he loaded up some 260gr. But he doesn’t give a chronograped speed just 9.3 grain of powder…
Tim has supported our yearly shoots with a few boxes of Buffalo Bore to go with the prize gun. I should have looked harder at the bullets he used.
One thing is for sure when your cylinder is that short, In my opinion it is built (at that point) for a maximum size boolit. I like a longer cylinder for that reason … But the fact that Tyler is creating a lightweight carry gun the smaller pills are what the doctor ordered.
You think he was rollin’ his own ammo ? Or all factory stuff.
From memory he was using milspec 230 ball but my memory is $hit.
