So, I was just taking a look at our tech road-map and we were looking into ways that we can increase the user functionality of the site. Mobile App is at the top of that feature list, (and standing at pretty close to complete by the way) with some tweaks next to that such as HD video and a fix to a bug that has killed our search functionality, but I figured since I was looking at it and viewing some of our good idea fairy things for the tech team to tackle, I should just come here and ask the horse what flavor of water he wants.
If you could add features outside of a mobile app and HD video to Full30 itself, or here on the Forums, what would you want to see added?
It’s important to note that we’re not making any promises on anything in this thread guys, but I can promise that we will be adding some of these suggestions to our good idea fairy list and talking about the ideas you all come up with. So, let’s hear what you guys got outside of the mobile app, HD video, and the search functionality, which are all things we’re already tracking and actively working on.
I’m not the internet commando I used to be. Facebook is actually what happened. Calling them the spawn of satan in jest…isn’t in jest. The left publicly said they want control of all information. I had to tell you where I sit before I tell you where I stand.
I don’t use mobile sites, in general. Touchscreen does not function like a keyboard and mouse.
The issue here is the general layout. No pages, just one long thread that drags on, making it really hard to find something…on page 42, as an example. Did vBulletin deliver this? It doesn’t seem like it.
This was brought up in the past but people like Brian purkiss insisted it is the way to go. I can’t find the thread at the moment but it was a big ordeal
I can argue points ignition is the best as I know it and prefer it, meanwhile electronic and computer advancements both leave me with my matchbook and screwdriver seeking the right dwell angle while everyone else is already home sipping whisky after dinner
So while you may think pages and needing to find and load them are superior to responsive software that never needs to even be refreshed
its not
That said I still prefer points ignition but we’re not going back to that here
I never said one or another, I just pointed out that its been discussed and who the biggest advocate for it was. Show me in that post where I took a stance on the topic?
Im glad you like points though, I prefer the Flinstone method most days.
