On Saturday, March 20th, an elderly gentleman walked his dog through a New York City park on a beautiful sunny day. “I fled from communist Russia,” he said while facing a small group of people taking in the day on one of the park benches. In a side-to-side motion with his arm, while pointing his finger, he said, “This country is doing exactly what Russia did to become communist, and you people are allowing it to happen. Wake up.”
The man is 100% correct. Who can argue against the fact that Americans are losing their Constitutional freedoms at a rate never before seen in the history of this country? The freedom to speak openly and freely is almost a thing of the past. What Americans are not allowed to say is almost as prevalent as the tonnage of information Americans are not allowed to know.
Millions of Americans have no idea that President Joe Biden is currently making billions of dollars with China, or that thousands of children suffer inhumane treatment on American soil at the Mexican border.
Whether you agree with a political position or not, until now, it was always understood that such beliefs were allowed to exist. Not anymore. It is now taken as the new normal that certain types of opinions and expressions are forbidden, that some books should be banned and burned and that responsible universities must prevent certain topics from being discussed on their campuses.
This is madness on an epic scale. The pain, misery, and sorrow that will inevitably result from this derangement will swiftly and suddenly destroy, as it always does, both the oppressors and the oppressed. Will Americans heed the warnings of an older man walking his dog on a sunny day or silently allow their world to crumble forever?
I don’t know, we may be screwed and it may be to late. Some will go down swinging and maybe that will give others the backbone to stand up and make a stand. It looks like the combination of big tech, corrupt media, and greedy politicians are going to force it into a confrontation. I’m hoping the vets and old timers just say screw it when the line has been crossed and kick things off. It will take more than bullets it will take the backing of thepopulation and I have little faith in the sheeple.
You can’t even talk our politician little lone our citizens into reading a book about economics. Trust me this country is going down hill fast and it won’t turn around
I am not really sure one way or another to be honest but if there is a resistance I think it will not go hot untail we see serious tragedy. People are still oblivious to whats at the door.
While I dont agree with it , the fact that people stormed the Capitol shows us that there are those willing to rebel. It was poor execution and a rather dumb way to go about making a statement but never the less its a sign that people are thinking on this and willing to act under the right(or wrong) circumstances.
While there were people there starting shit , I dont believe it was all show. To me it looks like the lefties seen oppurtunity to make the MAGA folks look bad so they did what they could. I do think many were legitimately trying to make a statement but things went a crazy. Just my take. You can find Facebook accounts on some of the people and at least some of them have enough of a trail to believe they were legitimately trying to make a statement.
I think many also thought that since the left is doing it so can we…but no, you can’t. The instigators were obvious though. No tinfoil hat about it, clear as day.
Trumps new social media platform is also going to be a game changer for his followers also. With both sides having a media presence things change, I wonder if we will see an actually news network next? Either way there are definite sides being drawn and people making moves.
Rebellion or Revolution or whatever we are talking about here isnt all pow pow bang bang. That was a poorly executed statement though, imo. It was pretty dumb , im not arguing that point I just think its a sign. Things are escalating.
The American revolution started way before Lexington, which if you are really into history is not where the first real shot of the revolution was fired. But I won’t derail this thread with that.
I never mentioned the American Revolution , I mentioned revolution or rebellion in general though. And yes I am aware of that and never said otherwise matter of fact I said that exact thing “revolutions are not all pow pow or bang bang”
You said that this ordeal didnt fit your definition of rebellion but it is the very definition of people rebelling it was just poorly thought out and easily manipulated by the left who started this game long before the MAGA crowd did.
Why did they show up if not to make a statement?
I dont support what they did but I highly doubt it was entirely made up of actors and orchestrated by the left. There is something there besides idiots looting a building and taking selfies.
