It is nice isn’t it, my wife and I lived like that for 8 years. We had a hand-dug well for water, with a bucket and a rope, oil lamps, and a battery-powered radio. For power, we had a cheap Champion genny from tractor supply that is still running, that I used for power tools, and on Saturday night we would hook it to the VCR/DVD player for movie night.
3 years ago, my wife said we were too old for that crap, so I bought her another fixer-upper that had running water and power, now I am glad I listened to her, but I kinda miss that place. Now it is just for storage and a super nice blind. Deer and coyotes don’t look up at the windows, and I can shoot warm and dry from them.
