except for the grenades these were regularly made by bored active duty dudes sitting in the back of a track, cramped turret or some muddy hole (when bottles had caps and you would have either forgot or lost the bottle opener).
In the period I was in the rifle had a engineered opener ( the cocking lever on the FN C1) or you used your bayonet and since you couldn’t take those home for the next beer bash, all you had to was source a hack saw and make something to take home.
