Doesn’t everyone?
I would hope so but no matter what question we pose within the firearm community, there always seems to be at least that ONE GUY, you know? LOL
The only thing sweeter than steel singing is the actual pop on impact of a whitetail!
I am that one guy, I don’t own guns. I just don’t get the gist of shooting a gun.
again this isn’t the lying thread…
sure… wink, wiink
That’s what I was thinking too Robert. But some folks don’t. I’ll explain and I might be right, but I never asked anyone who couldn’t shoot steel why they had problems. I just like to give positive encouragement and general suggestions to help them do better.
Poppers are easy and I wish I had time to enjoy seeing them go down, but that takes time. I especially like the Texas Star. It’s easy too and makes me look far better than I actually am. With the TS I actually have time to see the steel fall in a pile and that’s satisfying. Not everybody likes it though. Whenever the TS comes up in a stage I always explain how to shoot it to those who made “Oh NO!” noises and then demonstrate when it’s my turn. I think they get flustered and forget the basics of shooting; basically they choke under self induced pressure. If they would just chill they’d do much better.
But steel is great fun, or at least I think so.
Ping!
