Rules are often made as a result of an incident.

Each of the basic firearm rules have valid reasons for them.

1. Treat every gun as if it is loaded.

2. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

3. If you discharge a firearm in the house, do it while the womenfolk aren’t around, and while you have time to remove any evidence (including smell) before they get back.
