I vote this the most depressing topic on the forum
Death does have that effect.
Thought you’d be excited about passing over to your spirit world…sooner than later
Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to go right now
Huh, Ingins believe in heaven. Thought you were all about tramping barefoot through buffalo chips & streaking across the big prairie in the sky
Whiteman force his religion on us unwashed savages
Prop up beside the jukebox when I die
I’m going to start a new phone book , paper of course.
You can get them on Amazon cheap
do what, relate?
lost some friends?
This is what its about brother, actual communication
Everyone believes you have to die first
And there’s so much more
You can thank God, used to be no one other than Jews qualified
To go with the Rolodex, and Dewey decimal system, seems someone mentioned that recently too, I don’t do gps stuff, I look at a map, if need be I print a copy to take with me
Had a bad gps experience once, I lived in Sarasota, a friend needed help getting an item (truck bed) from craigslist in Englewood, he punched it in gps, three of us chatted or way there, loaded up, then none of us new how to get back, we didn’t pay attention, had to put home in the gps
That’s no way to live
Then I assume you are also familiar with our little cigar Guillotine Gizmo at Birth
might have used a cigarette guillotine on me
Poor bastard, I feel your pain…
That crap hurts, I couldn’t walk for a year.
But you get casino checks in return
68 yrs so far. Yikes, I got as old as Kevin Costner looks. Dang. Regrets? Yep, why didn’t I buy more 9mm when it was 16 cents a round. I get the fears and the nightmares as well as a bunch of other folks. I wake up in a sweat some nights. The times I feel strong and good about myself is in helping other people. No kidding. My friends wife called me to help her collect her husbands pension. He’s entering early dementia and is a hand full. Of all the rock and roll shows I worked at, as security, half of those folks are gone and gone waay too soon. That crazy fock Joe Walsh, I figured he’d be gone a long time ago, but nooo he’s still rocking, God Bless. Brother you’re not alone with the fears, I got them also. Never let fear stop you, stall perhaps, but not putter out of your own volition. Here’s a good question. Why, when we sell some of our gun gear before we get too old, or pass on our mortal coils, do we go out and spend the money on new stuff ? Go figure.
Have had some rough nights lately, waking barely after falling asleep, pretty agitated and unsure why,
I don’t self medicate anymore so bought some herbal tea today, hoping I can manage a peaceful night tonight,
And I love Joe Walsh, one cool cat no doubt
Robert, everything is working to HIS end. Just rest, assured in that. Our lives here are just a winnowing process to see who will follow and who won’t. Long lives here are NOT the object. But the right life lived here definitely is. The right life can be defined by the last few seconds of life, example: Barabas.
